R1 Wurks ESC help needed!

I have the R1 Wurks Digital-3 paired with a R1 Wurks 17.5t motor. I even have the Bluetooth module for tuning and live telemetry. But! What I don't have are brakes! It has all the brake settings but I'm still not stopping without using reverse. HELP!!!

Did both...still no brakes. I think there might be an issue with the ESC itself. Which sucks because I can't afford to replace it right now and I'm itching to get this buggy on the track that just opened up near me. The only other rc I have that I can run there is my Losi Mini B. And that Lil bugger is a pain to keep on the track with the little to no experience I have.
